I have little knowledge about Formula 1 … But why the years of cars that look much easier than last year?

I been looking at the pictures of this year season pretesting and all the cars much easier than last year – softer lines and less nooks and crannies in the pontoons. Time and money is spent on developing these cars, but it seems to have completely changed the design of this year – Meaning that engineers had to be wrong in previous years. Unless there are new regulations and restrictions in place, or thing? Someone Can he explain? Please excuse my lack of understanding.

There are a number of factors. The first is cost reduction. Max Mosley (FIA president) has said that the teams spend much money on cars and refined in every detail, without actually innovative. He decided that to reduce costs for small equipment, would limit the use of fins for aerodynamic parts of the car. This would save money spent on wind tunnel testing and CFD. The other is exceeded. Overtaking are relatively rare in F1 compared to, for example, Moto GP and automobiles. Aerodynamics, think it is because the use of dry tires, which reduces the amount of tire grip and mechanical grip aerodynamic grip means it is too big. I am not an expert in aerodynamics, but I understand, explaining that the turbulent air in front of the car affects the car trying to overtake. The solution proposed by the FIA is to bring the slicks and reducing the amount of aerodynamic fins, which holds the handle to the mechanical rather than aerodynamic as it was then grooved tires. I hope that was clear enough. :) EDIT: There is also the KERS system, which requires much research and contradicts cost reduction with the FIA seemed to be pushing.

Because global warming is the area of land under water in the hundred years Next?

Geography For a project I to make a poster on which we must protect the Antarctic. I found that sea level is likely to rise one meter over the next 100 years, the area of land would be under water by then? Please help with links, forms, whatever I know. Thank you!

Dang, my crystal ball does not get the weather channel. But my PC receives the History Channel. Over the past 100 years Sea levels rose 19 cm with an enormous degree Celsius increase in temperature 1. The fact is that nobody knows what the future holds. rise the sea level was predicted from 1m up to 60 meters. But with global temperatures for a short period since 98 ' Some scientists predict a cooling trend in the next thirty years, and 25 years of past failed predictions, the future seems less darker than it would have you believe. But you make an excellent point. Could someone please post a link to math? I see the mathematics of how a melting glaciers could raise sea of 10-60 meters. Noah, you must return to school and pay attention this time. Water expands when contracts frozen in liquid form and expands again as a gas. things very simple.

F1 technology built from 2008 to 1991 regulations.?

How many "better" (which defines as you want) a car A Formula One is if it was built (as an experimental design) with today's technology to the regulation imposed as they were in 1991? The regulation has been much freer in 1991. If you can not compare how much better would be a real car and a 1991 2008 car in progress.

I would not say the regulations have been largely free-er now at 91 … It's more a case of not technical aerodynamic so now … It is now more like engineers and teams have a small window at work, as did the even smaller window through the development and learning … in 1991, some cars were manual transmission gears, but now all the world has no problems moving pallets … Just because everyone knows now … its not set the rules .. But things on the way Active Suspension … Do not think I could be taken much further, as the technology, but on track, once the appropriate adjustments, Williams Indeed, there was no possibility to further improve … more cars are so sensitive today than Active Suspension, then perhaps obsolete now … especially with the introduction table 94 which meant he could not run your car too low … Otherwise there a lot then it is not or has not been enhanced by modern technology, all Anyway … The cars looked like they did it was not as high aerodynamic appropriate priority to big slick tires … But to answer your question a bit better with big slick tires, a wider track and the evolution of Aero 2008 … cars are extremely fast … and classification engine (V10, of course: P) and Active Suspension that perhaps could be about 4.3 seconds faster …
